Cool title huh?  Unfortunately if you are looking for fanfic you have stumbled upon something that has nothing to do with these two characters….well in the fanfic sense.

If you didn’t know, I wrote a few books that I have began to call The Daughter of Ares Chronicles.  People often ask me what my books are like or what I write.  Some of my tag lines include “take what you know about mythology and throw it out the window” or “mythology for adults”.   I guess you could say I write mythological fantasy.  I have a healthy dose of Greek/Roman mythology in my books, but I expand “mythology” to mean all kinds of things including where vampires, dragons, and other supernatural creatures come from.  Someone once pointed out that my books are a lot like Xena and Buffy…..some have even said if Raimi and Whedon had a baby it would be my books.  I don’t think that is a bad compliment at all considering most of the stuff I have liked had their hands in it.

Right now I am working on Cursed Bloods, which will be the next installment in the series.  It will pick up where Verses of Athine left off and continue showing more of the world of Athine.  I also have a whole “universal” theme with my “The N’Loron Universe”, which will make more sense in the future if I can get the website and corresponding books written!  Maybe kind of think of it as the expanded Star Wars Universe idea.  Spin offs.  Supporting characters with their own stories….

However, in the meantime, I have made the very first book in Verses of Athine a free download pretty much everywhere.  Heck it’s in several top 10 and top 100 categories over at Amazon.  I know lots of people are downloading it, but to maximize my exposure I thought I would start putting chapters up on my blog here.

Edited as of 5/26/14  I will not have the entire book up on the site anymore, but I still have chapter tidbits for you to enjoy!  See my latest blog post for more information!
